Michael (Mike) King, President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael (Mike) King, former chief executive officer (CEO) of the organization’s local office in Texas, began his tenure as Volunteers of America’s new national president on July 1, 2010, succeeding Charles W. Gould, who ended his 15-year tenure as national president at the end of June.

David T. Bowman, Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Mr. Bowman serves as executive vice president and general counsel at the Volunteers of America national office. In this role, he confers with the organization’s board, executive team, local office CEOs and staff on matters involving legal interpretation and decisions related to Volunteers of America’s activities, policy questions and operating issues.

Thomas Turnbull, Executive Vice President and CFO
Mr. Turnbull serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer at the Volunteers of America national office. His principal responsibilities include oversight of the departments of finance and accounting, human resources, information systems, development underwriting, and asset management.
